What we keep, and where.

Short version: Life OS keeps your data on your phone. Only two optional features send anything to us — Google sign-in for cloud backup, and the AI Companion. No ads.

Last updated 28 October 2026. Covers the Life OS Android app (com.a100dayschallenge.myapp) and life-os.in.

On your phone

You don't need an account to use Life OS. Your habits, tasks, missions, notes, photos you add to notes, journal entries, moods, focus sessions and stats are stored on your phone.

Optional: Google sign-in and cloud backup

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's basic profile (name and email address) and store a backup of your Life OS data in our cloud database so you can restore it on another phone. You can sign out at any time, and you can delete your account from Profile, which removes your cloud backup.

Optional: the AI Companion

When you message the Companion, your message and the parts of your list it needs to answer (for example today's tasks and habits, and your local time) are sent to our AI service, which uses third-party AI model providers to write a reply. Your journal is shared only when you tap Reflect on this on an entry. We may keep request logs to fix problems and to enforce usage limits. Don't share anything with the Companion that you wouldn't want processed this way.

What we don't do

This website

life-os.in asks you for nothing. It has no forms, no tracking cookies and no analytics.

The site remembers the accent colour you pick and whether you closed the announcement bar, in your own browser's storage. The site is hosted on Vercel, which handles the requests your browser makes to load it. Downloads happen on Google Play, under Google's own privacy policy.
